Welcome to Mt. Zion UMC in Smarr, GA! We are a loving and caring community of faith dedicated to being the hands and feet of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We are disciples of Jesus who are continuing to grow in our faith and service to God. The Holy Spirit dwells within us and leads us as we minister to our community and to each other in Jesus name.

I am a "hands-on" kind of pastor. I love -loving others~! I usually have a song in my head, a prayer in my heart and a shoulder to lean on! My goal this year is to visit every member of our church! Have I been to visit you yet? Let me know when I can!

Our Holy Bible leads me and teaches me how to become more like Jesus Christ. My favorite scripture is Psalm 139 - O LORD, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD. …..

My family is very important to me! Michael, my husband of almost 25 years, is my best friend and partner for life! He is a teacher at Spalding High School. Taylor, our sweet 20 year old daughter, is in school at Kennesaw State. She brings great joy to our life.
