The primary goal of training in The Method is a Christ-centered life. That means that we no longer live for ourselves, but for the glory and service of Jesus Christ. Just as knights of old pledged to serve and defend their lord, we pledge to serve Christ - the Lord of lords. For some, this means increasing your dedication to God. For others, it will be a complete redirecting of your life's purpose. The Method uses martial arts training as a medium for sharing and experiencing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Method emphasizes a defensive variety of Tang Soo Do. Strict guidance is given to avoid offensive use or abuse of the art. Initially, students may be attracted to the physical uses of combat to resolve conflict; but as they mature, they will discover the most valuable principles of training are the resolution of non-combative types of conflict - with others and within themselves. Again, the primary goal of training is conversion to a Christ-centered life.

We also have three new students who are not members of our church: Emily McCallister, Jimmy, and Jasmine. Nathan Cowart, who is a black belt in Tai Kwon Do, also trains in our class.
